I just wanted to write all of you to tell you how proud I am of you. Today was a beautiful graduation and each of you has such an exciting future ahead of you. Remember that no matter how uncertain the future may be, your past at Wide Horizons is like a rock....stable...and always here to support you. Please do not feel shy to call your teachers when you want some advice, a teaching tool, or just to chat. I will think of you all as my most brilliant, caring, funny, and lovely students. You all make me smile...so so much! Safe travels and talk soon!
Teacher Brooke
For your final blog reflection, I want you to think deeply about these past ten months together. Fifty years from now, when you are old, with many grandchildren, what are the things you will remember most about this experience? What will be the stories you will share with your grandchildren?
After your CBO visits, write a reflections about the experience. Remember you need to write at least one WELL DEVELOPED paragraph! You can choose to answer one or any of the following questions:
1. What is one thing that surprised you about CBOs in Mae Sot?
2. How do the organizations you visited compare to your CBO?
3. What did you learn that will be useful for your own CBO or for your future work?
4. Were there any CBOs you would like to work for in the future? Which ones? Why?
5. Was this experience helpful? How?
Have great CBO visits! See you all when I get back!
T. Brooke
